MEET UP AT AUTORAMA 2023

Autorama 2023 is inviting all kinds of special interest cars, their owners, and the industry that supports them, to get together at Mystery Creek in 2023

From time to time, everyone needs that rush from a big car show; it helps fuel the passion and gives us inspiration to get that project underway or finished and out on the road. It’s an awesome feeling being surrounded by like-minded enthusiasts, yarning about cars all day, and appreciating what fellow attendees have put together. Car shows inspire us and expose us to genres and builds we wouldn’t normally get to see.

Autorama 2023 is a new event that aims to unite the people, cars and suppliers of the special interest vehicle industry. It’ll host a range of cars from Japanese imports, performance cars, hot-rods, muscle cars, and classics, as well as industry professionals and exhibits at Hamilton’s Mystery Events Centre, over the weekend of 17–19 March next year.

The industry displays will give companies whose parts, knowledge and experience help keep these special interest vehicles on the road the opportunity to talk face to face with car owners and attendees, and share ideas, parts and inspiration for your project. As well, the show will include a Pro-Builders section where professional car restorers and constructors get to showcase their talents in person, giving a chance to see firsthand how these artisans work their magic.

Right now the team at Autorama are searching for the right range and quality of cars to showcase. Entrants that are accepted can enter into a judged or non-judged category of the show, with space for over 100 entries inside the hall and more in the outdoor areas. Cars included in the show are in with a chance to compete for a prize pool of $20,000, while industry attendees have a range of exhibitor space packages available as well as the chance to sponsor event categories.

If you or a mate have an awesome ride that would be good display material, get in touch with the team at Autorama and get an application to enter by emailing

info@sivents.co.nz, or if you’re a business owner and want to participate at the show as an exhibitor you can download an exhibitor and sponsor pack from the show’s website at autoramacarshow.co.nz. Car clubs are also encouraged to participate by setting up their very own club displays, or you can get your club together for a premeet and cruise to the show; just get in contact with the Autorama team to find out about the options, including VIP parking, that can be set up for you.
