Dear Sir, names are very important to all of us.

Too often we see initials only and wonder who was that person.

The nz rugby History website has 920 referees and 650 coaches in the database, of which 39 referees and 33 coaches only have their initials.

would Rugby News readers be able to help identify the full names (or at least the first names) of these referees and coaches?

They can email me at kpg@internet.co.nz Kerry Geertson, editor www.rugbyhistory.co.nz

Dear Sir, I’ve just watched my beloved Crusaders crumble in the heat of Lautoka to go 0-3 after the opening rounds of super Rugby Pacific.

They looked rudderless and lost without the likes of richie Mo’unga, but I refuse to give up on them. Many did after they lost to the Fijian Drua in 2023 and what happened three months later? yes, we won when it mattered, at the business end of the season.

At least sevu reece has looked sharp in his comeback from injury. I’m keeping the faith, and it won’t matter if we qualify in places 6-7 for the playoffs. Finn Sellers (Christchurch)
