WHAT WAS EDDIE THINKING?

ARE THERE ANY WELSH PEOPLE HERE? SO IT’S THIS LITTLE S*** PLACE THAT HAS GOT THREE MILLION PEOPLE – THREE MILLION!

POOR OLD EDDIE

JONES has had a hard time of it recently. The biggest problem is that his once high flying, nearly unbeatable England have hit a slump, losing to Scotland, France and then Ireland to finish fifth in the Six Nations.

If that wasn’t bad enough, he was verbally abused by Scottish fans in a rather unpleasant incident on a train and then, a few days after England were beaten by France, a video emerged of Eddie saying none too kind things about Wales and Ireland.

It was an old video from 2017, of him giving a talk to a corporate group.

“We’ve only lost one test to the scummy Irish,” Eddie said none too wisely. “I’m still dirty about that game, but we will get them back. We will get that back, don’t worry, we have them next year at home, we will get them back.”

Eh, well, England didn’t get them back, because Ireland won easily at Twickenham, no doubt a little motivated by the chance to make Eddie regret his words.

Still, Eddie wasn’t actually finished, after having had a crack at Ireland, he then tried to make friends with the Welsh by saying: “Are there any Welsh people here? So it’s this little s*** place that has got three million people – three million!”
