BEST PERFORMANCE
[INDIVIDUAL] Beauden Barrett vs. Australia at Eden Park
This was the easiest award of all to judge. Barrett had the game of his career and showed every bit of his immense repertoire in the 38-12 victory.
He kicked beautifully, his decision-making was spot on and his running game was devastating. He even made some big tackles and had a couple of clever passes.
He scored 30 points through four tries – the first All Black to score that many against the Wallabies – and five conversions.
It was a performance every bit as good as the one Daniel Carter gave against the Lions in 2005.
