David Pocock showed again he’s a deeper thinking human than most of his peers when he attended to Ryan Crotty in Sydney after the All Blacks midfielder was knocked out.
But that was topped by referee Nigel Owens who reprimanded Racing Metro fullback Simon Zebo and told him to apologise to his opposite man.
Zebo had been on his way to scoring a try against Ulster in the European Cup when he needlessly pointed at Michael Lowry to taunt him.
Owens approached Zebo after the try and said: “I don’t think you needed to do that. You should apologise.”
Zebo did indeed apologise and put things right.
