15 JAGUARES COME OF AGE

This was the third season in Super Rugby for the Jaguares and to be honest, they didn’t do much at all in 2016 or 2017.

They were a giant disappointment in fact. But the arrival of Mario Ledesma changed all that.

He gave them structure, confidence and most importantly, consistency. They won a handful of home games and then they came on the road, won in Australia, won at Eden Park and then the big, big moment came a week later when they beat the Chiefs in Rotorua.

BIG SCALP The Jaguares secured their first win on New Zealand soil when they beat the Blues before backing up with a victory against the Chiefs seven days later.
