They have done well as always – using their New Zealand contacts to scour the Kiwi clubs for unwanted odds and sods.
You can't be downhearted picking up a former All Black in Rene Ranger and former Scotland international Phil Burleigh.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT TACTICALLY?
Similar to the Japanese team – they will be a million miles an hour, highly skilled and fun to watch but just lacking a bit of presence and experience.
GUT FEEL – RISERS OR FALLERS?
They will be better, play more rugby than they have and stay in the fight against more teams. But they still won't actually be good enough to get over the top of many.
WHERE WILL THEY FINISH?
The Sunwolves we suspect are going to be more competitive in every game they play but not necessarily to the point where they win more than they have.
And so, for that reason, we can't see them getting off the bottom of the table
