NEW ZEALAND 7 ENGLAND 19

-

This was the game everyone saw as the final. Certainly England did because they produced one of their best performances in history.

After lining up to face the haka in a 'v' shape, they scored a try after two minutes and played with an intensity and directness that stunned the

All Blacks.

They controlled the game because they owned the collisions and strangely, despite the All Blacks picking Scott Barrett at blindside to give them a fourth jumper to England's two, they lost four of their own in the first half and didn't steal any.

The All Blacks' discipline wobbled a bit, too and despite their effort and desire to try to find space and get back into the game, they were comprehensively outplayed.
