7: george gregaN

-

When George was in his prime – which appeared to be all of his career – he had an uncanny ability to control every game in which he played.

The ball would present at a ruck and George would magically be there. He’d whip a pass away or run a little and pop it somewhere unexpected. He had full control of those around him and pulled the strings so cleverly and relentlessly with clinical accuracy.
