The Bulls for some time were the worst team in Super Rugby. An absolute laughing stock, even going through one campaign without a victory. Then Heyneke Meyer was made coach in 2005 and he had a long term plan to build a successful club and by 2007 it paid off. They won their first title that year and they won two more in 2009 and 2010 when Meyer was involved as a technical director.
