All Blacks Wild Card

Most of Leon MacDonald’s gold nuggets have revealed themselves recently; think Caleb Clarke, Mark Telea and Hoskins Sotutu. But keep an eye out for Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens, the Taranaki 19-year-old who scored two tries against Canterbury to claim the Ranfurly Shield in Christchurch last year.

Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens, a right wing, is a contracted New Zealand sevens player who seemed set to join NRL side the Parramatta Eels in 2017 only to have a change of heart. He’s still young, but Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens may be on the All Blacks radar in a year or two. Finlay Christie may interest Ian Foster a little earlier.
