JACKSON GARDEN-BACHOP [HURRICANES]

Strengths: Took giant steps last year when he came of age and took control of the Hurricanes backline. He looked like he lost weight, worked harder and it paid off.

He has time on the ball, an ability to dance on his feet in thick traffic and his game management last year was excellent.

Weaknesses: Can sometimes drop a little deep and be a touch passive in his decision-making and ball use.

Needs to back himself more and be more dynamic to pose a greater individual threat.

Goal Kicking: Strong

Is he a future All Black? Would need to improve as much again this year as he did last. But won’t be so far away if he does.
