The tricky business at No 6
How do the Chiefs find a way to get the best out of both Lachlan Boshier and Luke Jacobson? That's one of several questions facing the coaching staff ahead of the 2021 campaign.
Both are immensely talented loose forwards who are coming into their prime, however they have both established themselves on the blindside. There was a similar discussion in 2020, however an injury to Jacobson kept him out for the majority of the season.
Both players have shown they should be starting, and both Jacobson and incumbent openside Sam Cane have shown they can play No 8. Boshier can play both sides of the scrum, but where will each player best service the team, and how do the likes of Pita Gus Sowakula and Mitchell Karpik fit into this planning?
