The Magic of Attack

-

Attack. Attack. Attack. The Hurricanes are not going to be afraid to throw the ball around this year, given their surplus of weapons.

Just look at the depth they have in the midfield: Ngani Laumape, Vince Aso,

Peter Umaga-Jensen, Billy Proctor, Danny Toala, and Julian Savea appears to have transitioned into that area of the field as well.

In today's game, you can never have too many good attacking options, particularly in Super Rugby Aotearoa where points can be hard to come by.

There are a lot of players, both in the forwards and backs, who have damaging running games and will be called upon to put the team in position to strike.

The Hurricanes can strike anywhere inside the opposition half, with the powerful boot of Jordie Barrett an option for penalty goals from the halfway line and, in the right conditions, even further back than that.
