The Stars Must Align

-

The Hurricanes are going to have to rely on their stars to deliver in a big way this year, and that will mean their opposition will be working to make sure they cancel them out.

The likes of Barrett and Laumape are terrific attacking weapons to have in the side, but will they have the room to move?

The other main concern for the team comes at halfback. Perenara has gone on sabbatical to Japan and with him goes a key leader in the team and one of the more experienced players in their system.

Jamie Booth takes over the mantle as the side's most experienced halfback but as he is still recovering from injury, the Hurricanes turn to young duo Jonathan Taumateine and Luke Campbell. They have massive boots to fill in Perenara's absense.
