Three Key Men

The Hurricanes are going to need a lot from Jordie Barrett, Ngani Laumape Dane Coles in terms of performance and leadership in 2021.

Among the best players in the country at their respective positions, if this trio is not performing as they are capable of doing, things could be tough for a team who might otherwise lack in their attacking punch.

A year ago, Barrett and Laumape were the attacking leaders for the Hurricanes, combining for close to 20 per cent of the side's total carries and more than a quarter of their defenders beaten.

The Hurricanes have talent in the team to make the most of the platform laid by this type of production but will need their key trio on form to pull everything together.
