I've been watching a lot of rugby lately and it all feels so structured without the players playing what is in front of them and using their God given talents and what got them into these teams in the first place.
This reminded me of a good friend who was an avid fan of the legendary game Jonah Lomu Rugby and thought that our current players should play the game like rugby was played in the video game, off the cuff, spontaneous and without a care in the world for what could be written or said about them in the media.
Sometimes I think we over coach players from the greatest rugby nursery the world has ever seen, instead of letting these young men play like they are in the backyard, purely on instinct! This is when we get the best out of them and hopefully this might make the game more entertaining again and bring back the youth away from their devices and instabook.
