THE NEW CONTENDER
There’s been so much noise around
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, 28, that it’s easy to forget that (at the time of writing) he’d played just one full game for the Blues before getting injured in the second match against the Chiefs. In his full game, the loss to the Hurricanes, he looked superb in the first half with his fast feet helping him beat tacklers and get in behind the defence. His biggest error was a missed tackle that contributed to the Hurricanes match winning try. Whether he can match the hype, only time will tell, but from what we’ve seen, the signs are very promising.
