Su­per­winch ups the ante


Winch spe­cial­ist Su­per­winch has upped the ante at the ‘se­ri­ous player’ end of the recre­ational winch mar­ket with the launch of its new EXP ( for ex­pe­di­tion) se­ries winches.

Proudly built in the US in two spec lev­els ( EXPi & EXP) and avail­able in three ca­pac­i­ties, 8000, 10,000 and 12,000 lbs in ei­ther cen­tred ( In­te­grated) or non-in­te­grated ( for dif­fi­cult-tofit in­stal­la­tion) fit­ment op­tions, the EXP se­ries is avail­able in 12 or 24v, can be specced with ei­ther syn­thetic or wire rope, and fea­tures:

• An auto-en­gage clutch. • Fully pot­ted ( sealed) elec­tron­ics rated to in­dus­try­s­tan­dard IP69k. • LED task light­ing. • An auto-off func­tion. • Two fused aux­il­iary power ports for light­ing, power tools or an air com­pres­sor. • Two Pit­cantinny rails for mount­ing ac­ces­sories. Ac­cord­ing to Su­per­winch, ben­e­fits in­clude; • Faster line speed. • Lower amp draw. • Smarter elec­tron­ics. • Su­pe­rior seal­ing.

The new EXP line is backed by Su­per­winch’s five-year elec­tri­cal war­ranty and in­dus­try-first lim­ited life­time war­ranty on me­chan­i­cal parts.
