Ironman’s new bars

Airbag compliant design

-

These days, a bull bar has three key missions: protect the 4WD, protect other motorists and still look awesome.

It is required to comply with strict safety standards.

Vital for rural and remote area travel, bull bars provide substantially improved protection for vulnerable mechanical components against animal or brush strikes while providing a solid base for mounting other accessories like driving lights, winches and CB antennas.

Ironman bull bars are engineered and manufactured to not only maintain maximum functionality, but also to ensure they complement the look of the vehicle.

The company’s latest bars feature triple loop A-frame design, are designed to be compatible with winches, feature mount points for hi-lift jacks, dual radio aerials and spotlights or light bars. Importantly, they are also designed to allow for parking sensors and to allow for airbag compatibility.

Ironman develop all 4WD products from the ground up, taking into account a wide range of uses and customer needs.

The company uses 3D scanning and CAD modelling alongside extensive engineering and third-party testing.

Bars are supplied in black powder-coat or can be colour coated in vehicle colours.

Ironman also offers a rear protection tow bar in four mm steel which complements its bull bars. Built into each bar are rear tow point and high lift jack mounts. Each rear bar is supplied with a 50mm tow ball.

The hitch is rated to 3,500kg.

In all applications except Hilux, the design includes protection for vulnerable side panels.
