Argentinians like NZ

Wellington: The number of Argentinian visitors to New Zealand has skyrocketed 176% in 2016.

The international visitor arrivals to New Zealand report by Statistics NZ shows just 416 Argentinians decided to visit in 2015, while 1152 visited last year.

Visitors from Malaysia increased by 119% in the same year.

New Zealand had more than a million more overseas visitors staying for less than 12 months in 2016 than it did in 2015.
