Motorcyclist hurt

A man was injured after falling from his motorcycle in East Otago on Thursday.

The 31yearold was riding in Macraes Back Rd when he fell about 3pm.

Emergency services were alerted about 20 minutes after it happened.

The man was ‘‘conscious and walking’’ when emergency services arrived, a police spokeswoman said.

He was taken to Dunedin Hospital by helicopter.
