Carbon footprint

I SEE Lucy Lawless is again protesting oil exploration. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a sunset industry and we all must seek other energy alternatives. I just don’t understand how actors and actresses seem to have found their way to the front of the protest line. A life spent travelling the world again and again collecting meaningless awards and participating in makebelieve stories that improve noone’s life must surely create a very large carbon footprint. Even more puzzling is when Richard Branson, aka Virgin Airlines, chips in to save the planet. Let he or she with the lowest carbon footprint cast the first stone. Mark Wallace
