First win for Balmac

Cricket: Balmacewen Intermediate secured its first win at the National Primary School Shield tournament in Lincoln yesterday.

The Dunedin school beat Morrinsville Intermediate by 37 runs in the afternoon but lost the earlier match by four wickets to Heaton Normal Intermediate School.
