IT’S full steam ahead for Alex Campbell Menswear, as it prepares for the busy holiday season. All four stores, including the South Dunedin flagship store, Mosgiel store, Cromwell and their popup shop on George St, are jampacked with fantastic giftideas for the man in your life!
‘‘This time of year is really full on for us. The Christmas rush is starting, as many people know Alex Campbell Menswear is the place to get everything you need for your husband or son,’’ Lindsay said.
For the past couple of months, Lindsay has been building up summer stock and Christmas gift lines.
‘‘We’ve always got new stock coming in and opening the new deliveries each day is like Christmas for us. We’re excited to share what we have instore with our customers.’’
For Lindsay, his summer buying starts months in advance of the season because many of his brands are European, including Ben Sherman (UK), Pepe Jeans (UK), Dutch brand No Excess and Danish brand Blend. He also has a great selection of brands which are a little closer to home, including Australian labels R.M. Williams and Tarocash and New Zealand brands Lichfield and Cambridge.
Within his stores, Lindsay has a multitude of great giftideas, including shorts, Tshirts, shirts, linen sports jackets and tailored suits, as well as stocking-fillers such as belts and wallets.
A favourite giftidea for Lindsay this Christmas is their selection of beach Tshirts, which have local-beach prints on them, There are eight designs to choose from: $35 each or $30 each when you purchase two or more.
For a limited time only, Lindsay has brought Alex Campbell Menswear to central Dunedin, opening a popup shop in the old Dick Smith shop (next to McDonald’s on George St).
Lindsay’s previously had temporary stores in the vicinity and he recommends acting quickly, as he’s always had a great response to his popup stores and stock will not last.
The popup shop is open Monday to Friday 9.30am
to 5pm, Saturday 9.30am to 4pm and
