Woman attacked

Auckland: A woman locking her car on a street in Mt Albert, Auckland was sexually assaulted, police say.

The woman was approached by a man around 8pm on February 25 when she was grabbed and sexually assaulted, Detective Senior Sergeant Glenn Baldwin said.

It is believed the man then ran off west along Springleigh Ave.

Police have described him as of average build, around 1.76m tall with short hair, wearing glasses and smelling strongly of alcohol, possibly wearing a light coloured Tshirt and dark beach shorts.
