Young competitors busy

A BIG weekend is in store for many of Otago’s top secondary school athletes.

The Otago secondary school athletics championships will be held at the Caledonian Ground in Dunedin today, beginning at 8.45am and running all day.

A handful of events were held last night.

Leading rowers will be at Lake Ruataniwha for the South Island secondary schools championships.

The regatta begins today and will conclude tomorrow.
