Counsel Anne Stevens said Wilson had eight weeks in custody; the offending seemed isolated to a brief relationsh­ip; Wilson attending Community Alcohol and Drug Service because he recognised drug use a factor in the offending. Judge noted assault victim had been a temporary associate of Wilson; Wilson now back with his longterm partner ‘‘a positive anchor’’.
