Business to Business Expo offers great opportunities
TUESDAY night will see the third Dunedin Business Expo.
The expo, hosted at the Otago Polytechnic, provides an opportunity for businesses to meet and build relationships with key people.
‘‘With so many interactions happening in the digital world, the opportunity to market your business face to face can be seen as a distinct marketing advantage,’’ Otago Chamber of Commerce CEO Dougal McGowan says. ‘‘And for the attendees, it’s an important opportunity to build some key relationships.’’
The Business Expo will feature up to 30 business exhibitors, including large companies such as Air New Zealand, Western Union, and Spark Business Hub, as well as local businesses such as Mercure Dunedin Leisure Lodge, and enableMe Otago.
While the event is led by the Otago Chamber of Commerce, it is held in partnership with Otago Polytechnic, the Otago Daily
Times, and the Otago Southland Employers Association.
All have longstanding relationships with business and are a good alignment with what the Business Expo is intended to achieve.
‘‘At a time when business confidence is down, this event is an opportunity to celebrate the role that business has in building and connecting communities,’’ McGowan says.
The up to 200 attendees taking advantage of the networking opportunities at the Business
Expo will also be eligible to win a $250 flight voucher with Air New Zealand.
They warmly invite members of the business community to attend this free event. There are still a couple of places left if you would like to exhibit your business, so get in quick — call (03) 4790181 or email events@otagochamber.co.nz to register now!
