Custard game warning

Wellington: Suspicious posts on community Facebook pages in Wellington and Auckland have caught the attention of police.

The posts are from a man seeking children aged between 9 and 13 to be part of a game that involves pouring custard over themselves and the man.

The man is offering money, vouchers or tickets to events in exchange for children playing the game with him.

Police are advising parents to keep an eye on their children’s social media activity and not to engage with the person.

An investigation into the posts is under way. —
