BALCLUTHA STOCK SALE

A MEDIUMsized yarding of prime hoggets was offered this week to strong demand. Wetdry ewe numbers remained consistent, and heavy ewes sold well. Ewes and lambs all counted also sold well. Store hoggets were in limited supply, and still firmly in demand.

Prime hoggets: heavy, $170$185; medium, $160$170; light, $147$160. Prime ewes: heavy, $160$172; medium, $135$160; light, $120$135. Lower condition ewes: $80$90. Store sheep —

Store lambs: medium, $80. AD ewes and forward lambs all counted: $110.
