Two sustain serious injuries in Hyde crash
TWO people suffered serious injuries after a car crashed into a bank near Hyde in Central Otago yesterday morning.
A police spokeswoman said the car left State Highway 87 about 9.30am.
St John spokeswoman Chrissy Hamilton said both occupants sustained serious injuries and were flown to Dunedin Hospital by rescue helicopter.
One person was taken to Oamaru Hospital by police last night following a twocar collision.
A police spokeswoman said the cars collided at the intersection of Eden and Reed Sts, in Oamaru about 8pm, leaving one of the occupants with a suspected broken wrist.
