Facing multiple charges

Invercargill: A 33yearold man has been arrested for a series of methamphetamine and firearm charges in Invercargill.

He was initially wanted on firearmsrelated charges and will face further charges including possession of methamphetamine for supply and driving offences.

Cash totalling $7000 was seized alongside an unknown quantity of methamphetamine on Thursday night after a search of his Tay St motel unit.

The man was due to appear at the Invercargill District Court yesterday.
