PRIME lambs con­tin­ued to sell well this week, and a few spring lambs were of­fered. Prime ewes con­tinue to sell to good de­mand. Nine ewes and 18 lambs were the only store sheep of­fered this week. A good yard­ing of cat­tle was of­fered and sold well, on a strong grass mar­ket.

Prime lambs: heavy, $135­$145. Prime hoggets: heavy, $145­$160; medium, $125­$140; light, $110­$120. Prime ewes: heavy, $145­$165; medium, $130­$140; light, $100­$120. Lower­con­di­tion ewes: $90. Prime rams: heavy, $115; medium, $90­$100; light, $70. Store sheep —

Ewes and lambs all counted: $92.

Cat­tle —

Two­year­old Here­ford­Friesian steers: 580kg, $1500, $2.58/kg. One­year­old Here­ford­Friesian steers: 310kg, $930, $3/kg. One­year­old Here­ford­Friesian heifers: 280kg, $800, $2.85/kg.
