Award finalists named

Queenstown: Two southern lakes events, their event managers and a conservation ball are finalists in the New Zealand Events Awards.

Warbirds over Wanaka International Airshow is a finalist in the Best National Event category and the Queenstown Winter Festival is a finalist for the Best Regional Event.

Warbirds event manager Mandy Deans and winter festival director Rae Baker are both finalists in the Best

Event Professional category.

Real Journeys, which is also the title sponsor of the winter festival, is a finalist in the Best Corporate Social Responsibility or Not For Profit Event category for its ‘‘Birds of a Feather’’ Conservation Ball.

The winners will be announced at the NZEA Event Awards function in early 2019.
