Bank repairs under way
Work has begun on a $450,000 project to repair damage to a section of bank between Tennyson and Dowling Sts in Dunedin.
The bank was damaged during heavy rain in July 2017, when sections below Tennyson St were washed away.
The Dunedin City Council said it was repairing the bank by installing a retaining wall and guard rail barrier, and regrassing the slope.
The end of Tennyson St is closed and parking restrictions are in place at the bottom of the slope on Dowling St. The ramp from Tennyson St to Dowling St is closed to pedestrians.
The work is expected to be completed about May.
