Hastings homicide

Hastings: The death of a man in the Hastings suburb of Akina early yesterday morning has triggered a homicide investigation.

Police were called to a Lumsden Rd address about 2.30am after receiving a report of a critically injured man.

Emergency services administered CPR but the man died at the scene.

Police said two people were helping with their inquiries and they are not seeking anyone else. — RNZ
