Balclutha stock sale

PRIME lambs continued to sell well this week, and a couple of heavy lambs bumped prices up. Prime ewes continued to sell steadily. Prices for store lambs eased significantly, and only heavy or male store lambs sold well.

Prime sheep, prime lambs: heavy, $150$160; medium, $130$140; light, $110$120. Prime ewes: heavy, $140$160; medium, $120$130; light, $100. Lower condition ewes: $70.

Store sheep, woolly store lambs: top, $100$105; medium, $80$90; small, $50$60.
