Forensic testing completed

POLICE have completed forensic testing on two properties in Otautau following the death of a 9yearold boy last week.

A police spokesman said both scenes had since been blessed and released.

An extensive area canvas was completed in the small Southland town over the weekend.

Police presence in the town will continue ‘‘with a focus on reassurance’’ during the ongoing investigation.
