This painting by Wakatipu High School year 13 art pupil Molly Richards highlights the effects of serotonin on young people. The neurotransmitter is said to contribute to feelings of happiness and can be released through music. The artwork aims to communicate, educate and bring attention to the use of music as an outlet of escapism.
