We’re doing all we can to counter the spread of fake news about the Covid19 virus, and that extends to the product you probably pulled from your letterbox.

We’ve been guided by World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines, which say the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low.

WHO also says the risk of catching the virus that causes Covid19 from a package that has been moved, travelled and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.

Modern day printing technology is totally automated. The newspaper is printed, folded, bundled and/or wrapped mechanically. There is no human contact during that part of the process.

We prepare your newspaper for delivery using the same precautions of any other packing company. Our team members use hand sanitiser and wear eye protection, face masks and disposable gloves.

Our 150plus deliverers in Dunedin have been asked to wash their hands before and after their rounds, and to wear gloves.

They take care to touch the newspaper only as they lift it from their bag and quickly deliver it to your property.
