Lockdown brew

It is surprising, with the inventiveness that goes into the naming of beers, that noone has come out with a Lockdown Lager, Isolation IPA, Pandemic Porter or even Ardern Ale.

Wanaka brewery b.effect’s James Hay thought about it, but decided the lockdown experience was not a positive one for most. So, he came up with Social Experiment IPA (5.8%), which tries out new hops that produce hints of kiwifruit, melon and blackberries.
