TO Dunedin City Council parking officer No 32 (who made sure I would not receive parking tickets) and the taxi driver (white car) who both stopped to offer assistance on Friday night, June 26, my sincere and grateful thanks for your help and concern which was greatly appreciated.

Cars nose to nose and bonnets up did attract their attention.

Thanks also to the driver from Reilly’s who moved my car to McLeod’s Garage on the Saturday afternoon.

Not a flat battery — a failed fuel pump was the problem.
