Big crowd at charity match
Rugby: A big crowd watched plenty of huffing and puffing as the Pack the Park invitational match went down a treat in Invercargill on Saturday.
A crowd of about 7000 was at Rugby Park Stadium to watch two teams of former players play a charity game for the Southland Charity Hospital. The game was made up of 30minute halves and, for the record, the Blair Vining XV won 5217.
A function on Saturday night celebrated the occasion and also raised some funds for the hospital.
