Crowds flock to rhodo sale
Valeska Olivera, of Dunedin, struggles with her haul of plants at the Rhododendron Day plant sale, at the Dunedin Botanic Garden yesterday.
More than 100 people attended the sale, run by Friends of the Dunedin Botanic Garden, in the upper garden car park, next to the rhododendron dell.
Many of the plants came from the garden’s propagation unit and the rest from suppliers.
Funds from the sale would be used to support future projects in the botanic garden.
