Accident leaves one seriously injured
One person was seriously injured after a car crashed into a parked car in Dunedin yesterday.
A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the accident at the intersection of Kaikorai Valley Rd and Mellor St about 3pm.
A photographer at the scene said emergency services could be seen working to free a woman trapped in a car involved in the crash.
A fourwheeldrive ended up on its side against a house.
A St John spokesman said one person was taken to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries.
