Coalition negotiations needed
Vilnius: The conservative opposition Homeland Union party has won Lithuania’s elections with a projected 50 seats in the 141seat Parliament. Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis’ Union of Farmers and Greens came second with just 32, followed by the Social Democrats and the Liberal Movement with 13 each, the recently founded Freedom Party with 11 and the populist Workers’ Party with 10. Coalition negotiations are expected. — AAP
