Mt Cook airline to start
The New Zealand Aero Transport Company has received a formal offer of the loan of two Avros and three De Havilland planes now at Washdyke, on condition that the machines are kept in an airworthy condition and used in the advancement of aviation in the dominion (says a Press Association
telegram from Timaru). The aerodrome at Washdyke is almost completed, and the company expect to begin flying in a fortnight. The intention is to establish a service between Timaru and Invercargill and Timaru and Mt Cook, which will later include Queenstown.
