Leadership award for PM

Wellington: Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will join such names as Malala Yousafzai and Nelson Mandela as a recipient of the Gleitsman International Activist Award.

The award from Harvard Kennedy School’s Centre for Public Leadership honours Ms Ardern for her leadership, decisive action and commitment to reformative and inclusive policies.

The award comes with a $150,000 prize money which Ms Ardern has put towards a scholarship for a New Zealand student at Harvard Kennedy School.
