Fraser Skinner, Owie O’Connell, Lindsay Hewitson and John Cushen have been named in the South Island over60s team which will play the North Island side in Wellington next month. And Bevan Guthrie, Neville Scott, Malcolm Walker, Dave Meikle and Paul Facoory have been named in the South Island over67 team which will also play the North Island. The tournament replaces the cancelled Australasian and World Cup tournaments which were meant to be held during October and November in Australia. Otago will also field two teams at the national over60s tournament in Christchurch in February. The word is, masters cricket is booming in the city.
